A fabulous pencil drawing of a British Hawker Hurricane Fighter dated 1941, presented at that classic 45° angle.
Drawn less than six months after the 'Battle of Britain' has been won, the Poem celebrates the role the Hurricane played in the Air Battle that guaranteed Britain was safe from invasion.
'It flies through the air with the greatest of ease,
it's a match for the Heinkels, all Britain agrees;
it make quite a mess of all Nazi's it sees-
they rapidly hurry away'.
