1909 Pre WW1 Pen and Ink drawing of a battered looking footballer.
The Picture is titled 'Here we are again!' and dated September so it's the start of the football season but our friend looks like he's already been in the thick of it!
1909 is a very early date for a piece of Football artwork, only 21 years after the UK Football League, the first in the World, was established in 1888.
The 1909-10 Season was won by Aston Villa for the 6th time.
Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers were relegated and Newcastle Utd won the F.A Cup.
