A stunning museum quality work of nine Victorian Pen and Ink drawings from 1889 telling the story of a brave Fireman rescuing a girl from a burning building and then marrying her! 
I believe the drawings may be the proofs for an illustrated story of 'The Fireman's Wedding', a hugely popular poem of around 1880 by the Victorian author W. A. Eaton (1848-1915).
