A rare early watercolour on paper, by a WW1 corporal in the Durham Light Infantry, of a female billiards / snooker player (or a female posing on the edge of the table holding a cue)!

It's much more like to be a billiards scene as snooker was a niche derivative of the main stream billiards game at this date, and snooker only received its first standardised rules in 1919 with the establishment of the Billiards Association.
